I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I have been invited to be part of a wonderful new anthology, the brainchild of editor extraordinaire Christina Boyd of The Quill Ink. The Darcy Monologues is a collection of short stories written exclusively in Darcy's point of view by 16 Austenesque authors, many of whom you know and love: Sara Angelini, J. Marie Croft, Karen M. Cox, Jan Hahn, Jenetta James, Lory Lilian, Judy-Lynne, Beau North, Karalynne Mackrory, Ruth Phillips Oakland, Natalie Richards, Sophia Rose, Joana Starnes, Melanie Stanford, Caitlin Williams, and yours truly! If your interest is peaked, I've provided a link to an interview with Christina and Just Jane's C.A. Pepe on Austenesque Reviews below.

It's a great way to line your virtual bookshelves with titles from Abigail Reynolds, Sharon Lathan, Mary Lydon Simonsen, Jane Odiwe, Monica Fairview, Jack Caldwell, Maria Grace, and many, many others! I'm pleased to announce that Darkness Falls Upon Pemberley, a supernatural Pride and Prejudice novella I wrote last fall, will be available in August from White Soup Press. Please stay tuned for more information! Since the P&P 200 was such a success, the Austen Authors group has decided to begin another ambitious literary undertaking: The Pride & Prejudice Readers Choice! In case you haven't already guessed, The Bennet Brother (an original story by the Austen Authors) follows the same spirit of the P&P 200, where many of your favorite Austenesque writers take turns writing the story. But this project isn't a collective of scenes from Jane Austen's most beloved story, but an entire, original novel written by the members of Austen Authors; and the best part is that YOU, the reader, get to decide what happens next! Here's how it works: Simply visit Austen Authors every Wednesday, when the latest and greatest installment of the AuAu Readers Choice will be posted, read the chapter, and then vote on one of several plot devices. The next chapter of The Bennet Brother (which will appear the following Wednesday) will feature the most popular vote. It's that easy, and so much fun! And don't forget, authors love feedback, so don't be shy about leaving comments! I very much hope to see you there! Halloween is on the horizon, and during the month of October I'm celebrating our spookiest holiday by posting a very short supernatural novella at Austen Authors. So far there are eight parts including the prologue, and it's been so much fun to write; not to mention, I love going back to my roots by posting a story online in serial form, especially among so many wonderful friends, both readers and authors alike.
I hope you'll stop by Austen Authors and have a peek. There are other authors at AuAu, too, (twenty-two in all) who make it worth a visit, including Abigail Reynolds, Sharon Lathan, Mary Lydon-Simonsen, Regina Jeffers, Susan Mason-Milks, and our newest AuAu member, Syrie James. (You can also find Darkness Falls Upon Pemberley here on my website, under the "more" heading.) I hope you'll enjoy it - Happy Halloween everyone! Today I'm the guest blogger at author Barbara Tiller Cole's Darcyholic Diversions, and it's a load of fun. I hope you'll stop by and join in. There's an excerpt from my upcoming novel (Still a work-in-progress), In Doubt of Mr. Darcy, and if you haven't already read my book, The Truth About Mr. Darcy, there's a giveaway going on that you won't want to miss! Good luck, everyone! I hope to see you there!
